Monday, September 29, 2008 — The MontcoNet sites include the Montgomery County Directory at MontcoNet.com and MontcoNews.net, with features about Montgomery County people and places. The Events Calendar has been updated for October and November with information about, and links to, a wide variety of musical, theatrical, recreational and educational events and activities for the whole family.

We are looking forward to adding lots of new pages, with community information about Montgomery County's boroughs and townships, school districts, businesses and organizations. We encourage submission of press releases and event schedules for any events or activities in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania that meet these criteria for publication:

• Events must be open to the public
• Events must be "of general public interest".

If your civic group, church, synagogue or non-profit organization is producing fund-raising or benefit events, please send us details, too. Events should be submitted as far in advance as possible, but at least four weeks prior to the event date(s). Send your event information to:
